Saying Goodbye to our Best Friend

We made the difficult decision to end our little Nova Bean’s suffering. She crossed the rainbow bridge on Sept 23, 2025. She provided us with endless laughter, smiles, joy, love, empathy and support. She was there every step of the way through Andrew’s diagnosis, treatment and recovery. She was my emotional support for the last 2 years.

We adopted her from the Windsor Essex Humane Society on July 7 of 2016 at the age of 2. She was a stray with no known history. She was the greatest gift that has ever come into our lives. As a tribute to Nova, 20% of all sales at Sunday’s LaSalle Night Market will be donated to the Windsor Essex Humane Society.

A special thank you to Dr. Lauren Bailey for allowing us to have her home, basking in the sun and eating bacon before taking her final breath.
